A Soft Asylum: New Poems

"A Soft Asylum" New Poems by Justin Jacoby Smith

My first chapbook of poetry was called Theoretical BBQ, put out by my friends at the shoestring Small Child Press--it was a little collection that rushed its way out of me after a trying season.

Then, early in 2014 and spurred in part by all the dicussion about the creative process I had with Robin on The Definite Article, I got back to work. A Soft Asylum is the result. Some of the work in it has been published before, but the sequence you find here is--I hope--a satisfying whole.

For just $4 this button gets you a real, honest-to-god US Postal Service Mailed copy of A Soft Asylum. I may or may not kiss it with lipstick or sign it or almost whatever else you want me to do.

For just $2 meanwhile this button gets you a PDF of the book, and a bonus soundtrack mixtape as a thank you for your support.

Thank you, and thank you, and thank you. And thank you.
