A Soft Asylum: New Poems
by Justin Jacoby Smith
My first chapbook of poetry was called Theoretical BBQ, put out by my friends at the shoestring Small Child Press--it was a little collection that rushed its way out of me after a trying season.
Then, early in 2014 and spurred in part by all the dicussion about the creative process I had with Robin on The Definite Article, I got back to work. A Soft Asylum is the result. Some of the work in it has been published before, but the sequence you find here is--I hope--a satisfying whole.

Thank you, and thank you, and thank you. And thank you.
